WHAT?

Mikseimikkeli and Xamk will coordinate the second nationwide 5G Smart Forest Satellite Hackathon from 9th to 10th Decebmber 2021. Satellite means there will be three teams from each partner solving three forest cases simultaneously.

CASE A Pieksäwood ”How 5G technology can provide new understanding on Forest Diversity in Finland”.

CASE B Rumble Tools ”Opportunities of Autonomous 5G Drones in Forest Business”

CASE C Finnish forestry association”How 5G technology can support put out forest fires?”

Selected teams will work in O365 environment of their own university at the same time as other teams around Finland. Participating teams can work online or physically in the same city.

Best solutions will be exhibited on February 2022 in Expo 2020 Dubai.

Our partner Nokia Corporations will hold a lecture on 5G technology and its industrial applications on a global level during the hackathon.
