Saimaa Horizon 2030 – Invest & Grow
Saimaa Horizon 2030 - Invest & Grow project will strengthen the visibility, attractiveness and competitiveness of tourism businesses in South Savo and Varkaus in selected target markets and increase the number of international tourists and tourism revenues by supporting the growth and internationalisation capabilities and business skills of businesses.
The project will develop the business environment for tourism in South Savo and Varkaus through product development, marketing enhancement, promotion, improving accessibility and attracting tourism investment. The project will also continue its work to raise the profile of the Saimaa region in selected target markets in cooperation with South Karelia.
To achieve these objectives, the Saimaa Horizon 2030 – Invest & Grow project will work in close cooperation with the Sustainable Tourism Growth Programme for Eastern Finland managed by Visit Finland and the Pro Lakeland II project.
