Saimaa by Cycle – Sustainable Travel Chains and Themed Cycling Routes

The Saimaa by Cycle project develops the Saimaa region into an attractive and accessible cycling tourism destination. It strengthens the expertise of SMEs, creates new services, and brings together the cycling routes of Mikkeli and Puumala into a thematic and easily discoverable whole. The project promotes sustainable tourism, seamless travel chains, and regional vitality. The Saimaa by Cycle – Sustainable Travel Chains and Thematic Cycling Routes project is co-funded by the European Union, with funding granted by the Regional Council of South Savo.
